This all flat 210-hectare dairy unit is located an hour southeast of Rotorua in the heart of the Galatea dairying community. Currently 400 cows are milked through a very good 40 aside dairy with a three-year average of 142,500 milk solids (best of 147,000 milk solids). Production is achieved with 100 tonne of PKE, lucerne and grass silage made on farm - 28 hectares of lucerne provides added protection. Cows are all wintered on farm.
